Sweet Temptations: Boss's Daughter Tour and Giveaway

Sweet Temptations: The Boss's Daughter

Sweet Temptations Book 2

by L.M. Mountford

Genre: Dark Romance, Erotica

He thought his temptations were over, but they were only just beginning…

Until last week, Richard Martin was just another middle-aged guy. Married to a wife he loved, father to a son he adored, stuck in a dead-end job, just counting the days go by…

Then everything changed.

He made a mistake.

Now to save his marriage, he’s going to have to pay the price.

There’s just one problem, Scarlet Holmes.

His Supervisor.

She loves to play games with her staff and now, seeming very aware of his little secret, she wants to play a game.

And she always gets what she wants.

Because she just so happens to be The Boss’s Daughter.

The Boss’s Daughter is the sinfully tempting  and long awaited sequel to L.M. Mountford’s debut, Sweet Temptations: The Babysitter.  It can be read as a stand alone but it’s highly recommend you read Book 1. Full of tension and grippingly intense scenes, this next installment in the Sweet Temptations Series reminds every one why he has been dubbed The Lord of Lust.

Get down,” Richard snapped, not exactly pushing the girl away but urging her off of his lap and down under the desk with an insistence that brokered no argument from her. Then, heart pounding like a drum in his chest, he turned back to the screen.

The Skype video call was getting close to timing out.

Resisting the urge to glance down to the girl’s hideaway, he accepted the video call, then forced a broad smile. “Hey Al.”

His wife’s avatar minimised, and Alice’s smokey gaze met his.

Not interrupting anything am I, Dick?” Even wrapped around an insinuation, her husky tone made his dick hard all over again.

Or maybe it was just the sight of her all dressed up in her ‘work wear’. No doubt, the sight of Alice in that tan blazer, button up blouse, and white knee-length pencil skirt, had fuelled more than a few teenage boys to lock themselves in the toilets for an extended break.

Nah, just taking my break. How’s work?”

Boring,” she pouted. “I seem to spend all day either marking half-term homework or giving out detentions… Errr, I hate November.”

Aww… don’t worry love, it’ll soon be Christmas.”

She rolled her eyes. “Ha… ha… ha… Don’t remind me.”

Alice loved her work. She loved being a teacher, but there were times when the job didn’t necessarily love her. “Speaking of Christmas, you left your lunch at home, so I gave Rebecca a call and asked her to pop in with something special for you.”

Her tone was playful but the edge to her voice sent a cold shiver down his spine and he found himself glancing momentarily down at the dark space under his desk.

“Yeah… she just left.” He picked up his still wrapped sandwich and held it up for her to see.

A ghost of a smile curved the corner of her mouth and the tip of her tongue darted out to slowly moisten her plump upper lip. “Mmm… good, because I have a little surprise for you.”

Momentarily lost in all the memories of just what that tongue and mouth could do, Richard could only swallow. “Oh…”

She leaned back in her big black chair and began working on the buttons of her blouse. “I admit I was rather miffed with you over the weekend for getting in so late the other night, but I think I know a way for you to make it up to me...”

Richard couldn’t believe his eyes. “Jesus, Alice… are you mad?”

Come on Dick, I don’t have long till my next class… mmm… one of my students might come by at any minute…” As the last button came undone, the blouse fell open to tease him with a glimpse of her breasts, full and firm and absolutely luscious, before she pressed it closed. “Whoopsie…”

Tease.”

Aww… remember how we used to do this whenever one of us was working late… come on baby…” She let one corner of the garment slide down to reveal her left breast before cupping it. “Mmm… you like these baby, God I wish you were here… I’m so horny… I just want to jerk your big dick off with my tits and watch you paint them with all your yummy cum…”

Richard had to force himself to breath as he watched his wife raise her tit up to her mouth and swirl her tongue around the pebbled nipple. She knew how much he loved her tits. Knew just how to use them to drive him wild.

A-Alice…”

Do you want me to beg for it… want me to get down on my hands and knees… and beg to see your cock…” The blouse fell open completely as Alice pushed her breasts together, making them bounce and jiggle before rolling the dusky nipples between her fingers and thumbs. “Mmm… you’re so bad. Do it, Dick, I want your cock.”

And his cock definitely wanted her.

That throaty husk of hers had him as hard as steel.

Sensation rippled up and down his length as it fought to be free of its restraints. So insistent and demanding, his white knuckled grip on the armrests of his chair was all that kept him from ripping open his chinos and giving her the show she craved.

Then he felt something brush against his leg.

A Tall Tales from the Hills Novel: Book 1

Mystery

Date Published: November 7, 2019

Publisher: Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc.

photo add-to-goodreads-button_zpsc7b3c634.png

Set in Southwest Virginia and inspired by actual events and the story of the small town's most revered doctor, who may just be a serial killer. A local police officer with a tarnished reputation, a reporter who manipulated facts, and the doctor's chief intern, who may be a thief, have pieces of the puzzle. Yet no one in authority believes the great doctor could be responsible. All the while, patients are dying.

About the Author

Shadowed and protected by the mountains of her native southwest Virginia, Amelia Townsend has lived hither, thither, and yon – mostly between Virginia and North Carolina. She has worked as a newspaper and TV reporter, freelance producer and director, writer, and now PR hack.  She is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She has no claim to fame. Further, she is most often bewildered when people say they are impressed by her work. Her first novel, Keepsakes for the Heart, was nominated by the N.C. Historical Association for the prestigious Ragan Old North State Award for non-fiction.

Her favorite avocation is listening to and writing down other people’s stories, for truth surely is stranger and more beautiful than fiction. This is where Townsend has found fodder for the stories of the hills that she wrote with her late writing buddy. Several have come to life in the form of a novel and a couple of plays in production. The names have been changed to protect the guilty.

Townsend’s most impressive accomplishments are her children – a son and daughter – who managed to turn in to fine young adults, despite her attempts to raise them.

Virtual Book Tour: The Cold War Begins by Roger L. Liles

Second Volume of the Berlin Tunnel Trilogy

Historical Fiction

To Be Published: September 8, 2020

photo add-to-goodreads-button_zpsc7b3c634.png

From Amazon bestsellers list author Roger L. Liles comes the second volume of his Cold War trilogy—THE COLD WAR BEGINS. The setting is war-ravaged Berlin in late 1946. Spies from both sides begin to move with relative ease throughout a Germany occupied by British, French, American and Russian military forces. Kurt Altschuler, our hero, soon becomes one of them.

While working behind enemy lines as an OSS agent in France during World War II, Kurt learns that intelligence collection involves both exhilarating and dangerous encounters with the enemy. He relished every moment he spent as part of the vanguard confronting the Nazis.

That war has been over for 18 months when he is offered a job as a CIA deep-cover agent in the devastated and divided city of Berlin. He jumps at the opportunity, but is concerned that his guise as an Associated Press News Agency reporter will offer little action. He need not worry. Soon, he is working undercover, deep inside of Russian-controlled southeastern Germany. Eventually, KGB agents waylay him and tear his car and luggage apart. His chauffeur is beaten. He is threatened with prison, torture and death.

Enter Erica Hoffmann, a very attractive, aspiring East German archeology student. Any relationship between an undercover CIA agent and an East German woman is strictly forbidden; she might be a KGB or Stasi agent or operative. But he cannot help himself—he has fallen hard for her. Kurt strives assiduously to maintain their tempestuous, star-crossed relationship.

Eventually, Kurt works to counter the efforts of Russian and East German spies, especially a mole who is devastating Western Intelligence assets throughout Europe. He also must work to identify and expose enemy spies who have penetrated the very fabric of the West German government and society. He frequently observes to others that: “the spy business is like knife fighting in a dark closet; you know you’re going to be cut up, you just don’t know how bad.”

About the Author

Roger L. Liles decided he had to earn a living after a BA and graduate studies in Modern European History. He went back to school and eventually earned an MS in Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1970.

In the 1960s, he served as an Air Force Signals Intelligence Officer in Turkey and Germany and eventually lived in Europe for a total of eight years. He worked in the military electronics field for forty years—his main function was to translate engineering jargon into understandable English and communicate it to senior decision-makers in the government.

Now retired after working for forty years as a senior engineering manager and consultant with a number of aerospace companies, he spends his days writing. His first novel, which was published in late 2018 was titled The Berlin Tunnel—A Cold War Thriller. His second novel The Cold War Begins was published in late 2020 and is the second volume in his planned The Cold War Trilogy. This trilogy is based on extensive research into Berlin during the spy-versus-spy era which followed World War II and his personal experience while living and working in Europe. He is in the process of writing its third volume of the trilogy which will be titled The Berlin Tunnel—Another Crisis and takes the story into 1962 and the era of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Excerpt

In this poignant memoir, The Birds Sang Eulogies, Anna and Danny Geslewitz's incredible stories of survival are told by them, their daughter and their granddaughter, three generations affected by the Holocaust. Danny's agonizing story began the moment the Germans invaded Lodz, Poland in 1939. His harrowing story of survival begins in the ghetto where starvation and death were rampant. When the Germans liquidated the ghetto in 1944, Danny and his remaining family members were sent to Auschwitz. Danny's description of hell on earth leaves the reader horrified. After enduring Auschwitz for three weeks, Danny and his brothers began nightmarish journeys to seven forced labor camps were they endured inconceivable deprivations. After witnessing two brothers perish, Danny is near death when suddenly the Germans disappear. Living in the eastern Polish city of Lvov, Anna vividly describes life and death in the Lvov Ghetto. When it becomes clear that the Germans will kill every remaining Jew in the ghetto, she and her sister flee into Germany. There, Anna works as a maid in German household. She lives a life of constant terror fearing that her Jewish identity will be discovered. The mayhem of liberation brings its own challenges to Anna and Danny. Barely alive, Danny struggled to regain his health. Anna scrambled to find a way to survive in the chaos and find her sister from whom she had been separated. As Danny and Anna worked to find their place in life, they meet in Germany. Together, they begin a memorable new chapter. Years later, their daughter and granddaughter travel to Poland. Their personal accounts of their trips are riveting. Anna Geslewitz was a poet. One can feel her sorrow, terror and angst as one reads her poems. The poems are included in The Birds Sang Eulogies: A Memoir.

Virtual Book Tour: A Booktiful Love by Tolu’ A. Akinyemi

Poetry

Date Published: 08 May 2020

Publisher: The Roaring Lion Newcastle Ltd

photo add-to-goodreads-button_zpsc7b3c634.png

A Booktiful Love is a collection of poems that deal with the entirety of human experience in its various forms. Didactically rich, the poems explore ideas ranging from love, relationships, and patriotism to marriage, morality, and many other concepts pertinent to daily living.

Given its variety of themes, what unifies the poems in this collection is the simplicity and ambiguousness of language which the poet employs. The poems draw their strength from their clarity and meaning.

These are poems with a purpose. Poet Tolu' A. Akinyemi didn't shy away from this fact, as he wrote in the poems "Writers" and "Write for Rights." The poet's philosophy is evident in this collection. To him, a writer is saddled with the responsibility to use his words to teach, preach, and fight for freedom.

He writes:

"Let's change the world, one writer at a time,

Write those words till the world gets it right."

Another special attribute to this collection is the poet's experimentation with words. This is clear right from the title. The poet identifies himself as a creator of words. The reader is obliged to travel into the mind of the writer in each poem, to understand how his mind works. As readers approach the end of this collection, they not only become engrossed in its didactic richness, but also will appreciate the uniqueness of the poet's style and the sense of responsibility he carries.

 About the Author

Tolu’ A. Akinyemi hails from Nigeria and lives in the UK where he has been endorsed by the Arts Council England as a writer with “exceptional talent”. Tolu is the author of seven outstanding books, one of which is a collection of ‘short essays’ encouraging you to “Unravel Your Hidden Gems”. The five other books form the basis of his poetry collection, ripe for future growth, and which includes Dead Lions Don’t Roar, Dead Dogs Don’t Bark, Dead Cats Don’t Meow, Never Play Games with the Devil and his latest release, A Booktiful Love. He has also authored a widely acclaimed stellar collection of Short stories titled “Inferno of Silence”.

A former headline act at Great Northern Slam, Crossing The Tyne Festival, Feltonbury Arts and Music Festival, and featured in various Poetry Festivals, Open Slam, Poetry Slam, Spoken Word and Open Mic events in and outside the United Kingdom. His poems have been published in The Writers Cafe Magazine Issue 18 and 57th issue (Volume 15, no 1) of the Wilderness House Literary Review and many other literary outlets.

His books are based on a deep reality and often reflect relationships, life and features people he has met in his journey as a writer. His books have instilled many people to improve their performance and/or their circumstances. Tolu’ has taken his poetry to the stage, performing his written word at many events. Through his writing and these performances, he supports business leaders, other aspiring authors and people of all ages interested in reading and writing. Sales of the books have allowed Tolu’ donate to charity, allowing him to make a difference where he feels important, showing that he lives by the words he puts to page.

Best Selling Author Kindle Alexander is an innovative writer, and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica in both the male/male and male/female genres. It's always a surprise to see what's coming next!
I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it's true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women's hair!
Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life - I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations - regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal... I don't want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I'm going to tell you about Kindl
I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I'll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died - weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn't have to be alone.
That time in my life was terrible. It's everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.
Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness - it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.
Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It's its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn't be here today without her.
