Momma Says: 4 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐There's more to Shadows than meets the eye. The blurb gives us a lot about the storyline, but it leaves out the why. I'm not sharing that part either because that would definitely be a spoiler. I'll admit that I wondered if that was where things were headed, but I discarded the idea, sure that I was wrong. So, my advice would be to do what I did - go into this one spoiler free, enjoy the journey, fall in love with the characters, and be surprised when things happen. Laramie Briscoe has done again what she does best. She's created some terrific characters, pulled a few heartstrings, and made me fall for those characters. Single dads who will do anything for their babies get me every time, so it's no surprise that Shadows has won my heart.
