✱✱Book Review✱✱ Academy Of Beasts by Becca Fanning

USA Today Bestselling Author Becca Fanning is proud to bring you this Reverse Harem Academy Romance serial, packed with all the action, intrigue and great chemistry you can handle!

I thought the Slayers only killed Shifters. I didn't know the real purpose behind their twisted work. Heinous doesn't even begin to describe it.

But at least now we have a plan. We're going to get to the bottom of this, no matter who gets in the way.

No matter the cost.

The truth about the slayers and what they're after comes to light, and it's more frightening than Fiona imagined. She and the council boys are finally figuring things out and learning that they need to work together. I love the interactions between these characters and how each of the council boys brings something different to the table. We get the leader, the protector, the comforter, the joker... no two offer Fiona the same thing. There's chemistry with each one and Becca Fanning has given us a strong heroine, deserving of each one. Once again, we get a can't wait for what's next ending and more questions to ponder.

How are we supposed to protect the Academy when we're under house arrest? Who is behind this and what purpose does that serve?

The guys say I'm doing well as a Calm, but I think they're just trying to make me feel better. People are dying around us, and I feel, somehow, like it is all my fault.

This has to stop!

Momma Says: 4 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lots of intrigue in this one, and the tension is building rapidly with the council on house arrest. Of course, the more Fiona figures out, the more determined she is to learn more. There are also some interesting developments with Fiona's magic even as she sometimes struggles with it all. We still have lots of questions, and Fiona and company don't know who to trust, so don't expect a lot of development there, but darned if this serial isn't loads of fun even if the author does hold out on us!

A concerning letter reveals too much, and our group begins to look inward to find the threat...

Right as things begin to fall apart, Priscilla announces a themed ball!

I wonder if someone will ask me to be their date? What if...uh oh.

Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A new piece of information creates tension and distrust in the house, even with the stoic Dracus. It is nice to see a softer side of the dragon but it comes at quite a cost. Fiona is maturing - learning and facing repercussions when her curiosity gets the better of her, but she is maturing. She's also coming into her own and learning more about herself. With all the tension between the boys and one feeling like the odd man out, it's looking like Fiona may be the glue that holds everyone together.
