You’ve heard the rumors.

Yes, they’re all true. The women…the bank account…the really big…

Okay, I’m getting ahead of myself. I’m just saying, there’s a reason some call me Mr. Big. But none of it will matter to her. I’ve known her since we were kids. And she’s just as off limits now as she was then.

She’s my best friend’s little sister and when he asked me to give her the grand tour, he did not mean of my bedroom.

So Mr. Big has to stay under wraps… One problem, she’s the only woman I’ve ever truly loved. But with the secret I’m keeping, she’ll never love me back.

Momma Says: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

From the blurb, I expected this one to be more of a lighthearted read, and I was surprised at how angsty it was. Normally, I wouldn't care much for that in a romance like this, but somehow, it worked and kept the pages turning. Zach is tormented by a secret that he's sure will chase Emma away for good and that comes across quite well. The author also does a good job of showing the chemistry and feelings between this pair and I liked that even with the title and description, the story isn't about just another playboy. In fact, Zach makes for quite the endearing character and I found myself rooting for his happily ever after.

Momma Says: 3 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐

Mr. Trouble is an interesting story and there is chemistry between Jarred and Kinsley. The story follows the typical as far as fake fiancee romances go - rich playboy needs a wife to keep his money and down on her luck girl needs money fast. Jarred and Kinsley are good together and I liked that they didn't immediately jump into bed, but they did seem to fall for each other rather quickly, especially considering the length of the book. Overall, it is an entertaining read with a relatively low angst level.

Author Bio

USA Today bestselling author Nana Malone's love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense novel she "borrowed" from her cousin.

It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick-butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination constantly channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.

While she waits for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, Nana works out her drama, passion and sass with fictional characters every bit as brazen and kick-butt as she thinks she is.
