Fey Spy
Tales of the Ithereal Part 1
by Tiffany Shand

A fey, a world that’s against her, a mission to save her people, and a lost love.

Serafina Valeon fights to save her people by working in the resistance as a spy, in a world where she could be killed because of who and what she is. Only a sacred artifact, the keystone, can help bring freedom to the fey. Sera must risk her life to recover the stone and venture into the mage city of Elmira.

Once there she stumbles across her childhood sweetheart, Bastian, who now works for the very people that hunt her race. Sera must find a way to work with Bastian, despite their differences and the forbidden desire between them. Will she be able to recover the artifact without revealing who and what she really is? Will Bastian be able to accept her, or will their love be the doom of her?

Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Magic, suspense, war, intrigue, and a second chance romance all come together for another impossible to put down fantasy from this author. This first book in a new series is a solid introduction to the fascinating world the author has created. From the very first page, we're right in the thick of things and the pace doesn't let up as Sera struggles with her feelings for Bas while working to keep her secret and recover the keystone. Of course, we get some twists and turns along the way, and things aren't all tied up in a neat little bow for Sera and Bas or their respective races.
We get some great world building and the thing that always impresses me most with this author is the character development. Love them or hate them, each character is distinctive and colorful, and you can't help but get sucked into their story. I, for one, will be anxiously awaiting whatever's next in this intriguing world.
