Momma Says: 4 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐
As a fan of this series, I've been waiting not so patiently for Dimitri's story. He's been a presence throughout the series with his occasional advice to teammates and dedication to his family. Now, we get the story behind his big breakup and the relationship he finds when he needs it most. And for an added kicker, we get it in the form of an older man/younger woman romance. The age difference does show at times, but Amanda is mature for her age, and these two are just so adorable together. We do get a small bit of angst by way of Dimitri's soon-to-be ex, but overall the focus is on the relationship with Amanda. The only drawback is that I wanted more, but Dimitri is so darn lovable that you can't help but want more of him. All in all, this Slapshot novella is a great mix of sweet and sexy, and while a couple of things are still up in the air, things are headed in the right direction for this great couple.
