✱✱Audio Book Review✱✱ A Merry Montgomery Christmas by Samantha Chase

A Merry Montgomery Christmas
The Montgomery Brothers, Book 11
By: Samantha Chase
Narrated by: Kevin T. Collins

When the entire Montgomery family comes together, it makes for a holiday to remember.

But it’s more than just the tree, decorations, and gifts that have everyone talking. With so many people crammed under one roof, there’s bound to be some drama. Between last-minute business crises, talks of retirement, a new relationship, a sprinkle of marital problems, lots of snow, and a surprise baby, this has all the makings of a blue Christmas. They’ll need more than one Christmas miracle to get everything back on track, and hopefully Santa—or William Montgomery—will come to the rescue.

One thing’s for sure, it’s a Christmas they’ll be talking about for years to come.

Momma Says: 4 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐

There's a lot going on in Samantha Chase's A Merry Montgomery Christmas with the whole family gathered for the holiday. I think at one point, it's mentioned that there are 54 family members present, and with that many people, you just know some things are bound to go wrong. There is a fair amount of turmoil, but there's even more hope, love, and family solidarity, which is what a family gathering should be.
I'm just gonna go ahead and state that you probably should be familiar with at least some of The Montgomery Brothers series, but I'm not, and once I figured out most of the characters, I kept up okay. Pretty much every couple gets at least a chapter of their own, so there is a lot to keep up with. With that in mind, I have to give mad props to Samantha Chase for writing this one in a way that made it possible for this newbie to the series to keep up.
Kevin T. Collins narrates this one, and given the sheer amount of characters, that's a daunting task, in my opinion. I do think I would've enjoyed the narration more with more distinction between characters, but again, this guy had his work cut out for him, and all things considered, he did a good job.
So, a huge family holiday gathering, a bit of fuss and muss, and a whole lotta love and family unity. Yep, the Montgomerys certainly know how to host a party, and they know a few things about family and what's important. With that in mind, I'd recommend A Merry Montgomery Christmas, and now that I've met them, my TBR has grown with the rest of the series.
