There is some physical abuse by the syndicates hands and a drug overdose so if those are trigger points this may not be the book for you.
The title for this one couldn't be more perfect because this is Greyson's story. To be honest, I wasn't sure I was going to like Greyson. In the opening paragraphs, he comes across as arrogant and a bit full of himself, but the more I read, the more I became immersed in his life. The story follows Grey from a tremendous loss and barely scraping by to finding love and success, and while those things are important, it's the stuff in the middle that shape him into the man he is. Greyson's life does have its fair share of loss and heartache, but it's also filled with love and family. A family made up not of blood, but of close friends that would do anything for each other while still not afraid to call you on your BS. As the blurb warns, there are some possible trigger points in the book and while those parts are disturbing, they aren't overly descriptive. All in all, this one made for a hard to put down read filled with wonderful characters and their loves, losses, hopes, and dreams.
