Grace followed the rules. She always played it safe and never put her heart in jeopardy. Until the night she met Ryan. She’d never imagined that she could connect with an alpha male like him. Giving herself to him as he'd cradled her in his arms came naturally... until she sobered up. He was everything that she’d convinced herself she didn’t need. Or was he everything she needed?

Ryan balanced on a thin line of gray. He’d killed his share of demons but managed to live at peace with his actions. Then he met Grace, a woman who pushed all his buttons and shook him to his core. The need to have her overwhelmed him, but she kept shooting him down. Could he convince her that he was exactly what she needed?

Momma Says: 3 stars⭐⭐⭐

Grace's Kiss is an entertaining read that is part romance and part serial killer thriller. For most of the book, it's two different storylines running concurrently, and I did wonder what one had to do with other as the story bounced back and forth between Grace and Ryan and a vigilante/vengeance killer. The individual storylines do come together, but not exactly as I expected. Granted, I haven't read the earlier books in this series, so I don't know if there was some backstory on Ryan and his job that I didn't get here. The story is written in omniscient point of view, which was a bit disconcerting at first, but as the story progressed, it helped to get the thoughts of all the players. We actually get two romances, but Grace and Ryan are the focus while Keri and Tommy's romance is a smaller part of the serial killer storyline. Once the two parts come together, the story moves quickly, and we see a small bit of angst between Ryan and Grace while the serial killer's identity comes to light. I'm a bit torn on the conclusion, which is part happy for now and part open-ended, but the story did hold my interest.
