Drawn To You
A Second-Chance Gay Romance
by Rachel Kane
What if you could go back and do it all over again? What if you could get it right this time?
Theo was the painter, and Micah was the lawyer. That's how it was supposed to work, how they pictured their lives together. But when a family tragedy ripped Theo away, they never thought they'd see each other again, and life has never been the same.
Now there's no art, no passion in Theo's life, just business meetings and three-martini lunches. Micah made it into law, but he's addicted to his work, using it to hide from real life, from his real feelings.
A second tragedy is about to bring them back together, back to the lake where they grew up, where they were old friends until they grew into something more. Life is about to offer them another chance at life, at art...at love.
Two men who have given up their dreams have to decide, will you sacrifice everything to get that dream back? Will you do things differently this time, for another shot at love?
Drawn To You is a 70,000-word second chance/friends-to-lovers gay romance, full of late-autumn nostalgia, happy memories, and two guys who had better get it together before this chance passes them by.

Momma Says: 3 stars⭐⭐⭐
I've enjoyed several of this author's books, and I've always liked her ability to draw me into the character's lives and their stories, so I had no reason to think Drawn to You would be any different. Maybe it's just me, but this one just didn't have the same affect. The book is well-written and Rachel Kane does a wonderful job of bringing the feel of Autumn to the story with some terrifically descriptive passages. My problem lay in connecting with the characters. Try as I might, this couple just didn't have that spark for me. They're both likable enough, but I found them to be a little self-absorbed, and while Theo had given up a lot for his family, I just didn't feel like he really had to work to get back in Micah's good graces. As I said earlier, this author has written some great stories, and it's very likely just me. I didn't dislike the book, but I wasn't in love with this one either. I once read that no two people read the same book, so take this for what it is - one person's opinion, and if you enjoy second chance romances, certainly give this one a read.
