The Baby Shift: Nevada
Shifter Babies of America Book 5
by Becca Fanning

High art and a Wolf Shifter in Sin City. What could go wrong?

There was only one thing Amelia was focused on right now, and that was surviving the onslaught of her new boss and all of his demands. Working under him as a writer for the only art magazine in Las Vegas, she had started to take on his pieces, having to do interviews when it wasn’t convenient for her. But one such last minute interview led her into the life of Eli Kingston.

The only thing Eli wants is a normal life. He wants to continue pursuing theatrical art, now a theater producer with several rising stars on his payroll. But no matter how many times Eli moves, or how many different names he takes, his past still finds a way to track him down. And the moment Amelia walks into his life when she comes to interview him for a new piece, she is also caught up in the chaos.

As Amelia finds out that Eli is a werewolf, Eli will discover that Amelia is his Fated Mate. And now that he has found her, he won’t let anything stand in his way of claiming her forever.

Momma Says: 4 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐

This weeks shifter romance lands us in Sin City with chemistry sparking between a journalist and a theater producer who happens to be a werewolf. Eli and Amelia's story is a quick one, but the author still manages to pack it full of a fated mates romance and plenty of danger by way of Eli's past. The conclusion is a bit abrupt on the danger that threatens Eli and Amelia, and felt a little simplistic, especially given the history, but it does work and all of that is really secondary to the romance, which comes together wonderfully. Like the rest of the series, Nevada can easily be read in one sitting, making it a perfect quick bedtime read.
