An excellent series start with the introduction of dragons, shifters, vampires, and witches. Did I mention a dragon? There's just something about dragons, something almost majestic, and Marcel certainly fills the bill. The story is fast paced and filled with a supernatural romance, a bit of danger, and even some mystery surrounding Lynn's heritage. We also get to meet a few of the other residents in this community, which opens this series up to a world of possibilities. I love the way this romance progresses. It almost has the feel of a fated mates romance while still giving us the new romance phase with some fun flirting and terrific conversations between this pair as they get to know more about each other and their ideas of a perfect mate. There's wonderful chemistry between Lynn and Marcel, and their romance manages to be sexy while still keeping it clean. All in all, it's a great start to a promising series, and I can't wait to see what comes next in this world.
