Sexy single dad and firefighter, adorable waitress who hasn't quite figured her life out yet, and a totally lovable little girl - add that to a low angst, sweet and sexy read, and Inflame is the perfect prescription for a book hangover. There are some emotional moments, but the romance is easy going and totally charming. We see the struggles of a single parent, the exhaustion, the need to put yourself on the back burner while doing what has to be done for your child, and it's all addressed wonderfully as Ash devotes himself to Sydney. Every little girl should have an Ash in their life. Every big girl should have one too, and Emma is the winner on that front. Of course, she's the type of character that you can't help but root for. She's still finding her own bliss, but she thinks of others first and fits perfectly with Ash and his ready made family. This is a great start to a promising series, and I can't wait to see what this author has for us next.
