Gaya- Assorted Paranormal Stories from the Ancient Indian City
by Payal Sinha

Gaya is an ancient Indian City and considered one of the pilgrimage sites of Hindus. People visit it to offer Pind Daan to their dead relatives. The book contains short paranormal stories from this busting town. The stories are filled with local flavours of Gaya and would both thrill you and excite you. There is very little horror element and the book is made suitable for reading my small children.

Momma Says: 3 stars⭐⭐⭐

Admittedly, this one was a bit tame for me. I tend to lean toward something darker, but this collection of fun, spooky tales was perfect to read with the kiddos. The stories were just spooky enough to spark the interest of my thrill-seeker without going over into hide under the covers scary. Each tale is only a couple of pages long, so they're perfect for a quick before bed story, and in addition to the spooky aspect, it was nice to introduce a different culture than what they see every day.
