Okay, I get that this is a serial, which means it's a continuing story, but man, oh, man, did this one have to end there?! The tension builds a bit more as Fiona searches for answers, and while she does get one big question answered, there are plenty more to go. So, yes, the cliffhangers and open-ended finishes of these books are driving me a bit crazy, but I'm seriously loving every minute of it. The characters are a combination of interesting and intriguing, and everything I learn about them makes me want to know more. Basically, what we have is another great addition to the serial, and one that has me tapping my foot in a less than patient anticipation of whatever comes next.
