I'm starting to think that if it can happen, it will happen to or around Fiona. With each new addition to this serial, I tell myself to stop guessing and just enjoy the story, but I can't help it. I bounce back and forth about some characters almost on a page by page basis. There are also some that I remain sure of their motives, but that's iffy too - clear as mud, right? Yeah, that's where I am with these characters. They, along with their crazy, twisted storyline, drive me completely nuts, but at the same time, I'm hooked on this story and it seems like the more I want to shake the daylights out of any or all of Fiona's 'council boys' the more I want of them. This eleventh book in the serial gives us a couple of big things to think about, and the suspense has ramped up a notch or two. Of course, this is a continuing story, so none of the books end - this one just takes that up to big ol' cliffy that may have a few people grumbling about waiting for the next book, me included.
