✱✱Audio Book Review✱✱ Say You Want Me by Corinne Michaels

Say You Want Me
By: Corinne Michaels
Narrated by: Sophie Eastlake, Zachary Webber
Series: The Hennington Brothers, Book 2
Publisher: BAAE Inc.

There's no way I'll fall for Wyatt Hennington. He can keep his Southern drawl, irresistible smile, and those pick-up lines all to himself. I made the mistake of sleeping with him not once, but twice. I'm not stupid enough to give him round three, especially after he left me in the middle of the night so I could see myself out. I vow to return to Philadelphia and forget him.

It proves easier said than done.

When the doctor informs me I'm the winner of door prize number two, I put my life on hold and head back to Bell Buckle. Three months and if we can't make this work, I'm gone.

The problem is, when the cards are stacked against us, and I can't bring myself to leave him, I'll finally know if he truly loves me or if all my fears were real.

Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book... Long after the last page has been turned, or in my case, the last word has been listened to, you'll be thinking about Wyatt and Angie. I listened to the whole thing in a couple of days (only because I had to sleep or it would've been one day), and when I reached the end, I just kind of sat back and thought about it. I'm still thinking about it. and I still don't know what I can say that will even come close to doing this book justice. This story hit me from so many directions. Wyatt is so completely swoon-worthy, and I love how he brought out the softer side of Angie even when she didn't want him to. Then there's the angst, and I so did not see that one coming. There was no way to listen to that part of the story without crying great big tears. Without giving it away, I'll admit that had I known the story would go where it did, I probably wouldn't have listened. I tend to avoid that particular thing if I can. But then I would've missed out on the love story between Wyatt and Angie. So, even though that part of the book did twist me up a bit, it was part of this couple's journey and needed to be told. Sophie Eastlake and Zachary Webber voice these characters, and they did a phenomenal job of capturing the many emotions of this story. From sweet to sexy to heartbroken, and from exasperated to turned on to confessing their true feelings, this story has it all and these narrators convey every single bit of it. This isn't my first Corinne Michaels book, but it's been a bit, and now I'm reminded that I need more of this author's books in my life.
