✱✱Book Review✱✱ Academy Of Beasts by Becca Fanning

USA Today Bestselling Author Becca Fanning is proud to bring you this Reverse Harem Academy Romance serial, packed with all the action, intrigue and great chemistry you can handle!

I thought I could handle everything this place threw at me.

An outsider who still gets stared at as I walk through the halls? No problem.

Being hunted by a deranged lunatic who has spies and infiltrators everywhere? Got it.

But being heartbroken? This hurts more than I could have imagined...

Relationship problems, an enemy on the loose, and maybe even a little dissension in the ranks makes for some crazy twists. Danger to the academy has to come before the issues arising within the council, but that didn't keep me from wanting to grab a certain council boy and shake the daylights out of him - even as I understood his reaction to recent events. Fiona has some things to work through, including her own responsibility for the recent turmoil. This is one of the most emotional parts of the serial so far, and combined with the danger and intrigue, it's a fast-paced read that of course, leaves us waiting for what comes next.

A hand from the burning depths of hell, wrapped around my throat!

My assailant's mouth hangs open, his breath stank against my cheek.

My vision floods with tears and things start to go dark.

Breath, Fiona...breath!

Just when I think the tension is thick enough to cut it with a knife, Becca Fanning adds just that much more to keep me on the edge of my seat. Here we are at number 33 in the serial, and if anything, the danger has amped up even higher than it's ever been. There are lots of twists, danger, angst, and a big holy moly cliffy to keep us on our toes. I am absolutely hooked on this world and its characters. I love how each council boy is with Fiona and how close they've all become - well, most of them anyway. We'll just have to wait to see how one part of the mix works out.

She's come to me in dreams and visions.

I've always felt her presence, near me and almost close enough to touch.

But that would be crazy, because how can you touch a phantom?

But now...she's real!

Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Could it be that there's some help on the horizon? Maybe some answers? But then, even help can lead to more secrets, and things are already tense between Fiona and her dragon. BUt Fiona isn't the only council member keeping secrets, so that little nugget is an intriguing turn of events. Fiona is learning more about herself, but so many secrets and so much tension hanging over the council may be its ruin. This 34th in the serial is another fast-paced, quick read, and much like its predecessors, it leaves me anxious for what's next.

The most dangerous thing in this world isn't some weapon. It isn't magic. It isn't even a rampaging Dragon Shifter hellbent on burning everything.

The most dangerous thing in this world is a secret. It closes you off from those around you, and puts a wall between you and their love.

But I have to keep this secret, because it's too late to tell the truth...

Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fiona is determined to get help, but will she alienate those she loves in the process? We get to see a little more of the witches in this one, and Fiona is finally getting some answers, but she's also finally realizing how tricky secrets can be. Number 35 ends in a pretty big cliffy, and I can't wait to see how things play out. It's hard to believe we're 35 books into this serial. I've gotten so attached to these characters that after a while, I start missing them. Thankfully, Becca Fanning doesn't make me wait too long between installments, but she certainly knows how to leave me wanting more.
