✱✱Book Review✱✱ Fatal Felons by Elle Thorpe

Please note this is the third and final book in a trilogy, and this blurb contains spoilers for books 1 and 2. Start the series with Locked Up Liars, and Solitary Sinners before reading on!

When a judge declared Heath guilty and sentenced him to death row, everything we’d been fighting for went up in flames.

We have no excuses. No appeals. No freedom.

Now, there’s only one way out.

One way left for him to avoid a lethal injection in his arm.

Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book! This trilogy! I can't get enough of Saint View! The running storyline since book 1 has been pretty simple: Mae's sister was murdered, and the man accused and convicted is innocent. Finding the answer while keeping everyone safe has been anything but simple, and I've loved every single minute of it. Even those heart-stopping cliffhangers Elle Thorpe has so masterfully crafted. It's also a #whychoose romance and let me just throw in here that Mae is one lucky girl. Rowe, Heath, and Liam are hot, hot, hot. Oh, and it's not just Mae and her guys. Two of these guys are pretty hot together as well. Each of these guys is completely lovable and brings something special to the relationship. And Mae is a strong woman who fights for those she loves even when it means putting herself in danger.
Speaking of danger, this trilogy has certainly seen its share of heart-stopping situations. It's also been full of questions, and I've done plenty of guessing about the whodunit. I even guessed correctly a couple of times before a red herring would change my mind. I did finally figure it out and stand firm with my guess, but it was so close to the reveal that it barely counted.
Danger, excitement, and steamy goodness aside, one of my favorite things about Elle Thorpe's books is how real the characters are. Even when the storyline requires some suspension of disbelief, the characters feel so real they practically leap off the page. Their pain, their joy, their ups and downs - it's all right there, and I felt it right along with them. And I have to say that I absolutely loved Vincent! I'm not sure what that says about me, but he was a scene-stealer pretty much every time he landed on a page. And I'll stop there before I give too much away.
I don't know what the author has in store for us next, but given past experience, I'm sure to love it. That said, I do hope the future holds more of Saint View at some point.
