What better way to beat the winter blues than to get lost in an island romance. This is book two in Josie Jade's and Regan Black's Never Too Late For Love series, and it has already become a must-read series for me. It's got suspense and danger mixed with a romance between a couple that's closer to my age than that of my grown children. Not that there's anything wrong with new adult or coming-of-age romances, but it's refreshing to be able to relate so well to the characters. It's nice to find a reminder that passion and new love can happen at any age. As the title suggests, we get Jasmine this time, and she gets to fall head over heels for Cameron. If you read the first book, you'll remember Cameron - I already liked him from that, and now I like him even more. He's as protective as he is sexy, and he'll stop at nothing to keep Jasmine safe. It's a quick read, but it's packed full of everything a good romantic suspense needs, including some danger to get the heart rate up and some swoons to keep it there. I'm completely hooked on this series already, and I can't wait to see what's next.
