✱✱Audio Book Review✱✱ Over My Brother's Dead Body, Chase Andrews by Piper Rayne

Over My Brother's Dead Body, Chase Andrews
Kingsmen Football Stars, Book 3
By: Piper Rayne
Narrated by: Jason Clarke & Savannah Peachwood

Chase Andrews.

The Kingsmen’s top tight end.
My brother’s friend and teammate.
My new neighbor.
The grumpy to my sunshine.

But underneath that grumpy exterior, there’s so much more.

Chase likes to pretend nothing affects him, but I’ve seen glimpses of his other side in the time we’ve spent together.

And the more we get to know each other, the more I’m falling for him.

Under normal circumstances, this would be great. Except my hyper-protective big brother thinks no man is good enough for me, and my ex-fiancé is trying to win me back.

One charming, seemingly good man already broke my heart. Am I stupid to give a self-confessed relationship-adverse football player a chance to break it a second time?

Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

And here is just one more reason that Piper Rayne is in my top ten must-read authors. Anyway, third time's a charm; Chase and Twyla are my favorite couple in the series. I've loved the first two books and their couples as well, but Chase and Twyla? I LOVE Chase and Twyla. There's just something about a big tough guy brought to his knees by the woman he can't get enough of and letting said woman talk him into caring for a stray kitten. That's as close as I'm getting to spoiler territory, so you'll just have to read or listen for yourself to find out the rest.
Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood do a great job on the duet narration for this one. If you've never listened to a book in duet narration, you don't know what you're missing. Then there's the way these narrators pull out all the feels, including Chase's grumpy to Twyla's sunshine. If you enjoy sports romance, you don't want to miss giving this series a listen. Each book is heavy on chemistry and light on angst. Of course, there is a bit of angsty time, but it's far outweighed by the steamy goodness.
