Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The second San Antonio Security romantic suspense brings us Brax and Tessa - and a sweet baby. I have to admit that I really enjoyed seeing Brax fumble a bit as he figured out how to take care of his nephew, and I love his willingness and determination to figure it out. He does get some help by way of Tessa, who has some dangerous secrets. If you're familiar with Janie Crouch, you already know how well she blends the romance and the suspense and just how good she is with the found family theme. Once again, she's brought together some wonderful characters to show us that family is about more than blood. In this case, it's a family blended by adoption and how they take care of each other, including bringing significant others into the fold. I love how close The Pattersons are and how the brothers tease and joke even as they walk into danger together. I'm thoroughly enjoying this series, and I'm anxious to read the next brother's romance.
