✱✱ Book Review ✱✱ Charmed Fates by Odin Nightshade

Opposites attract is always good premise, making for an entertaining read and Odin Nightshade does it so well, whether it be opposite sides of an issue, country vs city living, extrovert/introvert, or mystical vs skeptical - the premise in his newest addition to the Omega Date Diaries, Charmed Fates.

When it comes to true love, can an open mind be more important than an open heart?

Spirits, souls and spells, moon-phases, mysticism and magic; these are the amazing phenomena that the world around us is made of.
That’s how Indigo Lockwood sees things, anyway. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a good luck charm in the world that could save him from having his heart broken by an abusive fiancé two years ago, and Indigo’s been desperately lonely ever since.
Aaron North, on the other hand, doesn’t believe in all that mumbo-jumbo. Spending his days writing snarky, skeptical articles for anti-paranormal magazines, Aaron’s life is consumed by logic and what’s directly in front of him. Love at first sight? Sheer nonsense. Fate? He’s not buying it. The fact that his latest gig—an article setting out to debunk a haunted bed & breakfast in the quaint town of Crosswinds—thrusts him directly into the path of sexy, free-spirited Indigo is just a coincidence.
But is Aaron willing to open up his mind to a world beyond the physical, while Indigo struggles to open up his heart after his devastating loss? And how many ‘coincidences’ need to occur before they both stop denying destiny?

Momma Says: 5 out of 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Charmed Fates is certainly an appropriate name for this newest addition to the Omega Date Diaries. This opposites attract story is both charming and sweet. Indigo has an innocence about him that is oh, so endearing and Aaron is quite the skeptic, but still a likable character. The book is well-written and entertaining. It is a quick read, but there's no shortage of story here as Indigo and Aaron find themselves thrown together, again and again, by an uncanny set of coincidences. While there is some blush worthy steam, this one has a bit more on the sweet romance side than others in the series, but it's just as good and this pair is so good together in spite of their differences. It is part of a series, but each book is a standalone, the only connection being the Omega Date app. All in all, Nightshade has given us another delightful Alpha/Omega tale.

The paperback of Charmed Fates is live now on Amazon.
