✱✱Book Review✱✱ Texas Bodyguard: Weston by Janie Crouch

A determined bodyguard. A fierce heiress.
And death is just a shot away…

Silent, stealthy and professional, Weston Patterson is always two steps ahead of trouble—until he’s hired to bodyguard a woman he never expected to see again. Someone won’t stop until Kayleigh Delacruz is dead. But the feisty heiress is challenging Weston to keep her close as well as safe. Will the suspicions between their different worlds lock them in an endgame impossible to survive?

Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The quiet Patterson brother gets his chance at love. Of course, it's never quite that simple when Janie Crouch picks up the pen (or the keyboard), so Weston is gonna have to work for it. He and Kayleigh knew each other from summer camp, and the attraction hasn't faded - it's just gotten more grown up. The suspense and danger don't let up for this pair, and Janie gives us a few twists along the way to keep us on our toes. I love the found family trope, and the Pattersons are a good example of one kind of found family. From each brother and their love story to the secondary characters, especially their parents, this family gets under your skin. I'm thoroughly invested in them, and I have no doubts that I'll be visiting these characters again and again. So, Texas Bodyguard: Weston is another great addition to the series, which is nothing short of what I expect from this author. We also get a good idea of what's coming in the next book, and I'll be anxiously waiting for that one.
