✱✱Book Review✱✱ Red Hott and Wilder: A Steamy Holiday Collection by Serena Bell

Hotter, Wilder, and oh so holiday-ready.

Three small-town holiday romcom stories with found family, big hearts, hot nights, and ALL the feels.

HOT UNDER THE COLLAR

All Reggie wants is the cute rescue pup at the shelter. She couldn’t care less about the adopt-a-pup, win-a-date special. But now she’s on the hook for a day out with the hot firefighter she’s been ogling. Unfortunately, he’s also the man who rescued her when she set her bedroom on fire during a failed attempt at “self care.” Can she turn a recipe for humiliation into a hot holiday fling—or more?

10,000 words. Originally published in the Chasing Holiday Tail anthology.

WILDER FOR THE WIN

Let the games begin! The coldest thing at the Tinsel and Tatas Winter Games is Amanda and Heath’s marriage. Can Amanda’s Wilder stubbornness melt the ice? Or will Heath have to bring the heat?

10,000 words. Originally published in the Tinsel & Tatas anthology.

A WILDER WEEKEND (co-written w Brenda St James Brown)

Was it a mistake for Mika to kiss her best friend's brother all those years ago? She'll find out, because she’s partnered up with him for the Rent-An-Elf fundraiser on her visit to Rush Creek. Connor is as confident and sexy as she remembers, and it's no easier for them to keep their hands off each other than it was the last time around…

20,000 words. Originally published in the Holiday Heart-On anthology.

Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I can't think of a better place to spend Christmas than Rush Creek. The antics, wit, and charm of the inhabitants (characters) kept me smiling, chuckling, and several times outright laughing all the way through. If you're familiar with the Wilder Adventures and Hott Springs Eternal series, you'll recognize so many of the characters in these quick reads. And if you're new to Rush Creek, what better way to get acquainted than joining in on some holiday fun?! In addition to her well-timed wit and gift for writing such vivid and hilarious situations, Serena Bell gives us some Christmas swoons and HEAs.
Each story is easily read in about an hour, and you can binge-read all three in an afternoon. So, whether you go straight through or spread it and read one each day (or night), you should definitely spend some time in this charming small town.
